Pureness Roasted Butternut Squash Salad

 

Salad Ingredients

1 small butternut squash (cubed and roasted)

3 cups spinach

3 cups arugula

¼ red onion (thinly sliced)

¼ cup almond slices (lightly toasted)

¼ cup pomegranate seeds

goat cheese or feta cheese (optional)

Dressing Recipe

2 Tbsp Pureness Vinegar

4 Tbsp Olive oil

1.5 Tbsp brown sugar

½ teaspoon cinnamon

salt/pepper to taste

1 small finely minced shallot (optional)

cayenne pepper (optional)

Roast  butternut squash with olive oil, salt/pepper at 400 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Combine with spinach, arugula, sliced almonds and pomegranate. Whisk salad dressing ingredients together and toss with salad. Serves 4. Enjoy this fall favorite!


Pureness Vinegar Cranberry Sauce

1/3 cup Pureness Vinegar

12 oz fresh cranberries

1 cup brown sugar

     (or other sweetener)

1/3 cup water

1 cinnamon stick

1 Tbsp orange zest

touch of honey (optional)

Combine the sugar and water in a saucepan and heat. Once it boils, reduce to a simmer and stir until sugar dissolves. Add cranberries and cinnamon stick. Simmer and stir for 10-15 minutes until berries burst. Remove from heat, immediately mix in vinegar and orange zest. Pair sauce with your Thanksgiving favorites! Cheers to your health.


Pureness Summer Quinoa Salad

with Peach, Plum and Corn

Recipe ingredients

1 peach

1 plum

2 ears of fresh corn

     (cooked and kernels cut)

2 cups cooked quinoa

1/2 cup feta cheese

1/4 cup basil

12 cherry tomatoes

Dressing

1 Tbsp Pureness Vinegar

1 Tbsp olive oil

2 teaspoon sweetener of choice

1/4 lemon (juice)

salt/pepper

Combine quinoa, corn feta, tomatoes and basil in a large bowl. Pour in dressing and mix. Add peach and plum stone fruit and toss gently. Salt and pepper the salad to taste. Serves 2-4. Enjoy! 


A Special Recipe from Celebrity Chef Ming Tsai

In a sauté pan over medium heat, add a 1 tbsp of oil and swirl to coat the pan.  Add shiitake, shallot and sauté for 2 minutes.  Add corn and cook for 4 minutes.  Deglaze the pan with the Ume Brown Rice Vinegar.  Remove from the heat and whisk in ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil.  Check for seasoning.  Place frisée on a large serving platter, spoon warm vinaigrette over.

Pureness Vinegar Drink for Lunar New Year 

2-3 Tsp of Pureness Vinegar

6-8 oz of still or sparkling water

2-3 Tsp of sweetener of choice

1 TBS of orange juice

strawberry and blood orange slices

Cucumber Salad

• 3 Persian or Japanese cucumbers, cut pieces and pat them slightly.

• 1 1/2 tsp kosher salt, rub cucumber and let it sit for 3 hours then pour off the excess water. Combine the following seasonings with cucumbers.

• 3 garlic cloves sliced or minced

• 2 Tsp cooking wine or mirin

• 2 Tsp Pureness Health rice vinegar

• 1/2 Tsp white sugar

• 2 tsp white sesame oil

• 1 red pepper cut into thin strips

• 1-2 tsp Sichuan peppercorn spicy oil (optional)

Pureness Vinegar Salad Dressing (makes 1 -2 servings)

  • 1/4 cup Pureness Vinegar

  • 1 Tbsp olive or salad oil

  • 2 tsp honey*

  • 1/2 tsp salt (and pepper to taste)

Finely grated onions, daikon, garlic or parmesan cheese are great additions to enhance flavor! Mix thoroughly in a bowl or use a blender or processor.

Complement any meal by adding these ingredients to dressing:

Soy Sauce (1 tsp soy sauce, 1/2 tsp sesame oil, 1 tsp honey)

Honey-Dijon (1 tsp Dijon mustard, 1 tsp honey)

Miso (1 1/2 tsp miso, 1/2 tsp soy sauce, 1 tsp honey)

*amount can be adjusted to taste


Pureness Vinegar Honey Drink

1-2 tsp Pureness Vinegar

2-3 tsp honey*

10-12 oz hot water (to dissolve honey)

Stir until blended, chill with ice if desired.

For a fruity taste, try a squeeze of lemon, thin slices of apples or oranges, or adding some berries to your drink.

Enjoy hot or iced.

Pureness Vinegar Juice Drinks

Add a little Pureness to the juice drinks and smoothies you blend for that extra healthy sweetness!

Recommendation: 2-3 teaspoons

1/4 cup Pureness Vinegar

1/4 cup soy sauce

optional flavors:

2 tsp sesame oil, chili oil

2 tsp grated chili, ginger, garlic, yuzu, cilantro, sesame, green onions

Mix in a small bowl. Use with cooking or serve sauce in a shallow dish for dipping.

Sparkling Pureness Vinegar

2 tsp Pureness Vinegar

2 tsp honey (or other sweetener)*

8 oz sparkling mineral water

optional additions:

vodka or rum

splash of favorite juice

fruit
